A day at Coney Island

Last Saturday we took a day trip to the best and worst place on earth...Coney Island. We went with our good friends Lizz and Ben (who were recently engaged) We had a blast walking around exploring and taking the odd atmosphere in. For those of you who don't know Coney was kind of a Blast in the past and now is a totally run down community, run by thugs and carneys...its great. We ate hotdogs and fries, ice cream and candy and rode the two best rides the place had to offer, The Cyclone and The Wonder Wheel. Overly priced but fun all the same. The subway ride is mostly above ground ride that takes about 50 minutes It was nice looking out the window into deep Brooklyn graffiti and homes. A perfect sunny day, a break from all the rain we have been getting.

Afterwards we went to a little art opening at Giant Robot. And just played around Soho. We got Kelly a sweet bracelet from a lady on the street. Then we hit up some good ol Thai food. So all in all the day was a full event and fun filled. We will miss Lizz and Ben. They were staying with us and have since moved to Arizona.

on to bigger and better...home

For those of you that don't know we moved! to a much better, bigger, cleaner, brighter, all around more kick aye place than the former (please note pics) Don't get us wrong we loved our time here and had fun making and fixing it up. We did things like add shelves, painted, hung art, hung pegboard and even laid a little section of linoleum( la-no-lee-um). We grew a ton and loved our little little home.
This is a kind of 360 shot of the ol pad, things to note would be K.P.s tiny kitchen, our 9' x 8' bedroom...no joke.

We will have to post some pics of our new digs for all to see....until then.

First of hopefully many...

So um yah we have been talking about doing this for awhile. And after months of planning and debating we finally now are making the plunge... Blog or Die! Doing this with tha (a little thug "the" for you) hopes that friends and family could have consistent news and pics of their fav friends, siblings, son, and daughter. We hope to update this bad boy often enough to keep peeps interested and start a mini cult following (that's where you come in). Please use and enjoy this blog. write comments, because we want to hear from and about you as much as you from us!

Here we are one late night on the subway keeping ourselves entertained. One of the great things about NYC is that you can do this sort of thing in public and even be taking photos of it and people ignore you and could care less. enjoy.
