GARDEN UPDATE

Just wanted to show the progress of our tomatoes. They are starting to produce like crazy. So if you live in the area let me know if you are interested, and you can have plenty of tomatoes, basil, and/or mint. I think we will make some homemade salsa.

ANOTHER FUN WORK PROJECT

A fun work project that I just finished up was POP decals. These are stickers that go up in storefront windows and doors the let customers know that American Express cards are welcome. This year we worked with 5 cities, I loved being the one to research out and find local artists (from each of the 5 locations) to illustrate their cities. Here are two examples.

I was able to work with my very close friend Liz Galvin (otherwise know as Lizzel Reimschussel) on the Pheonix's decal. Isn't it beautiful. She did such a great job.

I really like the way Chicago's turned out as well, done by John Solimine.

ANKE WECKMANN

I have just started working with Anke Weckmann, an illustrator, on a project for work. She is an amazing artist living in London. I have been a fan of her art for sometime now and am very excited that I have the opportunity to work with her. Not only is she very talented, but very sweet as well. You should check out her website, as well as her etsy shop, lots of great things!

BYE SICKLES!

Check it out I finally got my new bike in the mail! A week ago today actually, I rushed home from my design internship to put it together with the left over day light.
Such a beauty, I was so stoked to have it and put her together the first thing I did was cut into the cross bar paint with my box cutter taking off a zip tie. doh.
I got some tools and some assistance from my nieghbor Doug, and his girls.
Taking a spin to feel how everything is fitting.
Feels sooo good, and even better once I tweaked the seat a touch.
My last frame was alittle small and will fit Kelly perfect. I am giving her my bars and brakes and wheel set from my Iro build as well. Will make for an illy ride. Here I am cutting the new bars into bullhorns for K.P. (she does'nt like drop bars)
Greasing her stem

Tapping up the handle bars to make it oh so cush for my pretty's paws...
Nearly done taping the bars and looking fresh.
One last addition, until she gets my new wheels. and some cages for her pedals
Killer K.P. says it rides perfectly, much easier to handle then her old schwinn! Not to mention about 20lbs lighter. Its for sell by the way.

We are currently training for a triathlon on Sept 6th in CT and are excited to use our new bikes in the race.

ODE TO CARDON

Today is my and Cardon's 3 year anniversary. That's right we have been hitched for 3 years already and are just shy of living in nyc for 3 years too. Boy does time fly when you are having fun. Cardon thank you for the best 3 years of my life, i am hoping for a good 60+ more.

I guess i should thank my collage roomies for predicting the future. This is a flyer from when Cardon and i had barely been dating that my roomies conjured up and posted 500+ all over campus. I am pretty sure that is the best prank anyone will ever play on me. It was actually worse for Cardon because then everyone for the rest of the year was like, "Hey your that guy that asked that girl to marry you with the flyers around campus, did she say yes?" We just starting going with it so we didn't have to explain the whole prank story.

I love this picture. We had our friends Allie and Dave take our photos. They did the most wonderful job. You can check their work out here. I miss Southfork Canyon.
