RIDE OF FIRE

We borrowed this post from our friend, Graydon.
Cardon getting (hella*) close to the fiery trashcan of doom.

So yesterday Cardon and I were biking around when we spotted a burning trash can in the Gramercy Park area. So what do two sensible young men do when confronted with a burning trash can? Ride around it and try to take cool looking photos of each other on our fixed gear bikes next to fire! Mad street cred yo. Cardon won, he got the closest to the burning trash.

*Cardon’s west coast slang, not mine.

APPROVED TO SNUGGLE

I for the most part am not allowed to touch k.p's legs with my feet due to a slightly rough heal. I use the word slightly because I have seen friends and family with way worse heels then me. I tell her she is being a "sissafied tweety bird" and to buck up because my feet are really nice compared to most the male twenty somethings as a whole. Maybe even... I dare say, a 7 or 7.5 (.5 if recently trimmed nails) out of 10. Ten being amazing like flop ear bunnie bottoms and one being a komodo dragon and asphalt. To make a short story shorter, a deal was struck. A pedicure for snuggle rights. we spit in our palms, shook on it and within minutes I was soaking my paws in warm water with some type of crystals sprinkled in to calm and sooth the situation. It wasnt that bad and k.p. seemed to enjoi it, oddly. So over all it was a win win. Softer feet and approved to snuggle.

FRIDAY FLOWERS

Each friday night we make it a point to get some flowers for our home. Often scored from my work or purchased across the street at our nursery and neighbors. I am not sure how or when this became a TGIF event but it has and I love it I particularly love the current beauties (see below). There is something about flowers that set a pleasant tone to a room.

→side note← I would like to take this moment to do a formal sighhh and a chuckle regarding c-dubs random out of context picture posts. Please bear with and enjoi.

AMAZING CHINESE WIZARD BOY

Cardon and I met for lunch on Friday at Union Square. We noticed a crowd of people gathering in an unusual spot...

Once, we pushed through the people we saw what all the fuss was about....there was this amazing Chinese wizard boy! This kid was a chess master genius. He was top of the line and fast too. We tried really hard to touch him, so we could say we touched the new Bobby Fischer. I heard someone ask how old he was once the game was finished he replied "Five" and ran not walked away. It was weird and awesome.

SOILED SUNDAYS BEST

Cardon and I got caught in the rain on our way home from church today. I snapped a quick shot when we arrived home of Mr. Poopy Pants... It's a good thing this happened on the the way home from church instead of to!
