CHECK IT

Cardon and I were lurking in a Barns and Noble waiting for a movie to start down the street and found a book Cardon designed last year. It was really cool to find and see all printed and finished. Though he said it wasn't the best of the three he designed. But in the end it is up to the publisher. We had to mark the moment it was exciting.

WHILE ON THE SUBJECT OF DOGS...

This is my buddy Cyrus and his dog "Lucky Charm" I have only known C-Russ for about 13 months or so and have seen Lucky at least 4 of the 7 colors of the rainbow. I love it, that is some serious flare and accessory.

TRIBUTE

For those of you know, this is the ultimate, this is Maggie. She is now 12 years young (human) and still spunky, funny and well, adorable. I can still remember how pissed I was when after 3 years of asking for a dog my mom brought home this. "This isn't a Beagle!" I remember yelling. But as is goes within the hour I was in love. Maggie this is a tribute to you and your 12 years, cheers to you!

NICE TRI

WHY TRI?

Last Saturday we did our first triathlon in Madison, CT on the day of the big storm from the hurricain. So unfortunately they ended up cancelling the swimming portion and adding another run at the beginning and lenghtened the bike ride. So we ended up doing a run, bike, run (duathlon) rather than a swim, bike, run. All in all it eneded up being a great experience and the weather wasn't even that bad during the race.

Look at how intense Cardon is charging the finish. That's my man.

We aren't sure how, but I took 3rd place in my division and won this sweet fleece vest.

Some bikers commented on how we were "Mad Dawgs" for racing on single speeds.

We caught kind of a bug after this experience and have since signed up for another Triathlon on the 4th of Oct. in New Jersey, called the Bassman Tri it is rated in the top 40 for the nation and is suposed to be beeautiful. We are training for the swim in this awesome cheap city sponsered rec center in Chelsea full of funny characters.
