HOUSE INSPIRATION

I think i found my dream house. I am really loving the marry of modern architecture and the use of vibrant colors. Plus, the idea of having the working space underneath and a big yard full of wild flowers and potted plants is dreamy.

A SLICE OF MY LIFE

Cardon up to his usual antics. For anyone who knows him they have experienced this, imagine having this kind of stuff happen to you on a regular basis... Drat.

MY PLAYGROUND

I found this trailer for an upcoming documentary, My Playground by Kaspar Astrup Schröder. It is a film about movement, tricking and freerunning engaging fully BIG’s recent project the Mountain Dwellings as backdrop. The Mountain Dwellings recently were awarded the Best Housing Project in the World at the World Architecture Festival in Barcelona.

LOST & FOUND

Here are a few after thought photos from the airplane that crashed into the Hudson River last week here in NYC. My buddy from work took these photos. When he sent them to me he said, "No need to go to the movies this weekend, I have got a show right outside my bedroom window." Pretty crazy huh. So amazing that no one was killed.

This is my favorite one. I love how it's peeking out of the ice.

E-Y-E - X-A-M

While visiting Utah last month we were able to get eye exams from my sister. It is so amazing that she knows how to work all that crazy machinery. This pic is so funny, it looks like a still from Star Trek or something. She did a great job and it looks like we don't need prescriptions! If you are in the Utah Valley area and you need an eye exam you should go see Dr. Pyne she is professional (and hot) see her at Sam's Club in Provo.

OVER A RIVER & THROUGH THE WOODS

Over the holidays we were able to spend some time with family in McCall, Idaho. We did a whole lot of snowboarding, snowshoeing, eating, and rummikub playing. Here are a few photos of a day exploring the woods on snowshoes.
On our way to town to round up some snowshoes.

A shot of the lake

Soon came all the kings horses and all the kings men.

The trees were so beautiful and so peaceful.

"I"GLOO "YOU"GLOO

While we were visiting Utah for the holidays it snowed so much, we knew what we had to do - build an igloo. This was such a good igloo too, Cardon doesn't mess around. We were planning on camping out in it, but we got distracted and never quite finished off the top. It is still in my parents yard if anyone wants to have a go.

CHRISTMAS RECAP PART I: NYC

Here is our little Christmas tree, we live across the street from a nursery so we usually always pick out a small gem. We didn't really have any Christmas decorations so we usually buy one every year and then all the rest are homemade out of clutter; anything from acorns, styrofoam peanuts, tinfoil balls, to little hand sewn creations. Notice the half color half white lights... budget.

Same goes with most of our wrapping paper too. Old paper we already have, just doll it up a little, here is one that I like. Cardon got me some really cool gifts this year (maybe because I picked out 1/2 of them). Thanks love.

Love this picture. Cardon picked a few great things as well.

It snowed a little right before we left for back home. But this ain't anything compared the massive amounts out west. Still nice to look at though.
