Last Saturday we headed upstate to go apple picking with our friends Keely and Jiyoung.
The set up was beautiful. So may beautiful colors and delicious foods to take in.
This is the man that gave us the best roasted corn we have ever had. A face we will remember.
This is a face happy to be getting seconds.
On the tracker headed to the good pickin' spot.
It felt really good to be in an orchard. It made me home sick. My dad still can't believe that people pay to pick their own apples.

We ended up picking two big pumpkins to bring home to carve because the daughter of the farmer said she would only charged us $3 each for the big pumpkins. While her mom told us $10 bucks just for one! Little does her mom know we made out like bandits, sucker. Love getting a deal. Thanks Keely for driving and for such a fun day.

That sounds SO nice! Maybe I will find the route and take my rents apple picking...get them out of the city.
hahah nice work on the pumpkin deal.. That corn looks so yummy! It's good to see you in an apple orchard I drove past your grandpas house the other day and say an apple sign there not the same without you there.
