NY ART BOOK FAIR

This past weekend was the New York Book Art Fair. Cardon and I were able to pop in and take a look. I definitely recommend it to anyone that loves books, especially hand made and independantly represented. This is our second year attending and we can't wait for the next. So much to take in one could easily waste a couple hours here. We walked away with 3 new beautiful books!

SKATE OR DIE

Cardon's latest skateboards came out two weeks ago. They turned out great. There are three in the series. If you are interested they sale them at Blades.

COME SAIL AWAY WITH ME

In honor of Columbus Day last week, my team from work and one of our clients went on a little sailing trip. It was so much fun and a great way to see the city.

We busted out the water balloon sling shot. Always a crowd pleaser. You could do some damage with this thing.

ANOTHER LOVE NOTE

Taking my usual route to work i came across the following. This has happened before... and i have a very good suspicion as to who put it there.

THE BIG APPLE(s)

Last Saturday we headed upstate to go apple picking with our friends Keely and Jiyoung.

The set up was beautiful. So may beautiful colors and delicious foods to take in.
This is the man that gave us the best roasted corn we have ever had. A face we will remember.

This is a face happy to be getting seconds.

On the tracker headed to the good pickin' spot.

It felt really good to be in an orchard. It made me home sick. My dad still can't believe that people pay to pick their own apples.

"
We ended up picking two big pumpkins to bring home to carve because the daughter of the farmer said she would only charged us $3 each for the big pumpkins. While her mom told us $10 bucks just for one! Little does her mom know we made out like bandits, sucker. Love getting a deal. Thanks Keely for driving and for such a fun day.

I SPY

I love old signage. It has so much more personality and character. There are some great signs around ny. I like to take photos, even if they are just with my phone, for reference for inspiration. Here is one i came across in the East Village not too long ago.
