ADIRONDACK ADVENTURE

This past weekend we had a blast camping with our friends Greg and Angie. We had a really loose agenda/destination planned, actually we had nothing planned at all. We just rented a car left. Using kelly iphone to google things and places to go. It ended up working out and being a ton of fun. The Adirondacks are beautiful!

Here is our camp site the first night. We set up in the dark and weere pleasently suprised when we woke up to a really beautiful spot.

There were so many pretty trees!

We feel upon a beaver dam and pond on our hike. Cardon and Greg were obsessed with the gnaw marks.

The lookout at the top of our hike. It was so beautiful. Trees everywhere. We ate a packed lunch up here and laid out, soo relaxin.

If you look in the background you can see the old ski jumps from the olympics in Lake Placid...super cool.

Camp fires, smores, food campfire conversations and late night card games!

The trip wouldn't be complete without a dip in the lakes.

ANTICIPATING THE SNOW

This video is so beautiful. If it doesn't get you excited to ride and excited for fall and winter, I am not sure what will. Don't forget to watch the making of video as well. It is almost better than the actual video.

SCOOTER ROADTRIP & CAMPING!

Two weekends ago we took a three day weekend and decided to pack up the scooter and get out of town. We have never done this before so we knew we were in for a treat and experience. We packed as little as possible but still the scooter looked like a pack mule. We had a comfortable enjoyable ride, though we did find ourselves on some major highways a few times (seh-chee). To see us on the road I am sure looked like something out of a cartoon.

The route (roughly) we did get lost twice :-/
Our destination was the weis ecology center in Northern New Jers. We were the only people in the entire campground and were able to hand pick the very best site after exploring all of them. Our site was on the edge of a cliff, you can kind of make it out in this picture by the greay strip of rock. Between the tent and table...

Near by was a natural pool hand dug by Austrians in the 1930's. Fresh water with nothing ever added or taken away from it. There were frogs and even one little water snake we saw.

A hike we went on to a peek and look out point.
A dearYou can see the little cliff edge a lot better in this picture..

JOB JOY

Cardon just got offered a job from Lousie Fili! He will be one of her two designers. It is a beautiful small studio on 23rd st. He is taking over the very talented Jessica Hische spot.
We are pretty excited. This is such a great opportunity! If you are not familiar with Louise's work you should check out the studio's website. Here are some studio shots...

Here is some work...

Good job Cardon! I am so excited for you, and even a little jealous!
